Question / Help Amnesia: The Darkest Descent Lags When I Open Up OBS Even When Not Recording

All settings are the lowest. I have a pretty idea on what is going on, because my Adapter Type is the ATI Radeon HD 4200. I know I should just get a new computer but if there is any way possible to fix this then thanks!

Don't know if this helps you but it runs just fine when I don't open up OBS.

The Radeon HD 4200 is a huge bottleneck for OBS. It's old and not even designed for gaming in the first place.

Don't know if this helps but when I go to the menu screen while in game there is no lag with the mouse. Like everything is fine until I resume the game.

It's not just your video card that is too old. You're basically going to need a whole new system.
